The Famous Five. Five Go To Smuggler`s Top. By Enid Blyton. Mystery/adventure

A great book! I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish!
Strange things are happening at Smuggler`s Top, secret passages, mysterious signalling, smuggling, missing people, a large marsh and a very angry man. What could all this mean? Find out what Julian, Dick, George and Anne along with some other friends are going to do about it.
A cleverly written book with lots of tension and excitement. The author slips in some little clues to find out who is up to no good. A great book for both boys and girls and plenty more stories in the series with the same characters and all by the same author!
Read it and solve the mystery!   ND

  1. In fact Five Go To Smuggler's Top is described as the "best" Famous Five book ever written in the series, according to several polls. In fact, the book gets honourable analysis in my introductory chapter to book on Enid Blyton, titled, The Famous Five: A Personal Anecdotage (www.thefamousfiveapersonalanecdotage.blogspot.com).
